The model number label is located behind the grille on the power supply enclosure (part ). Such as F52F1055.
Series 1 or 2 Power supplies manufactured in 1998 or later use a power supply compatible with the new W8600F remote performance indicator. (143k pdf, 2 photos)

Basic Power Supply Test Procedure
Your indicator light is not coming on 13
Grille is tight in place or Interlock switch is closed 9
Power box switch is ON 8
Unit never sparks
Blower is ON

Verify Power is Present.
Check for 120v at power supply terminals P1 and P2 using a meter or test light.

Check for Shorted Cells (part 3 ).
A shorted cell can prevent the indicator light from coming on. Remove cell(s), with door back in place operate without cell(s). If the unit now appears OK with indicator light ON, then there is a cell problem.

Operate without cell(s)

Check cells for broken wires

Check cells for bent plates

Check with one cell at a time (align cell with contacts)

Check Power Supply and Air Flow Switch (part 10 and 4 ).
The power supply has 120v at input and the Neon indicator still does not light without the cells.

Bypass the Air Flow Switch (AFS) 4 , The AFS is a sensor that signals the power supply when air flow is present. Disabling the AFS will simulate the ON state. Using a jumper wire, ground AFS resistor to the chassis, see AFS Tech Notes.

Replace Air Flow Switch 4 , if the Neon indicator lights and unit appears to work with the AFS disabled. 1994 AFS instructions

Replace Power Supply 10, if the Neon indicator does not light with the AFS disabled and no cells to short the output. Spark Test

Neon problem 13, is not likely if unit does not spark. The neon lamp voltage measures 125 vdc.
